ABOUT IBERÊ CARVALHO

Iberê Carvalho, 47 years old, is a director, screenwriter, and producer. He studied Anthropology at the University of Brasília (UnB), Journalism at the Catholic University, and completed a Specialization in Film Directing at the San Pablo University in Madrid. He has also served on the main feature film jury at the Brasília, Gramado, Punta Del Este, and Barcelona Film Festivals. In addition to his work in cinema, he has been awarded as a commercial director. He directed the films Maria (2022), Palco de Luta (2022), O Homem Cordial (2019), Heróis do Cuidado (2018), O Último Cine Drive-in (2015), Maria Lenk - Essência do Espírito Olímpico (2012), Procura-se (2010), Para Pedir Perdão (2009), Entre Cores e Navalhas (2009), Suicídio Cidadão (2003), Desespero (2002), and Cela de Aula (2001).
